Let us first acknowledge our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you have come to God to make a petition for this important exam.
We are instructed in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is a wonderful promise that we can claim as we bring our requests to God.
However, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As you see in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full," as recorded in John 16:23-24 WEB.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. This is affirmed in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
It is hoped that you and your friends are trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. We are reminded of the assurance of prayer in the name of Jesus in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Lord Jesus, we bring before you this request for success in this exam. We pray that you will grant favor and bring to remembrance the material that was studied. We ask that you help these students pass this very important exam. We pray that your peace will guard the hearts and minds of these students as they prepare for and take their exam. Lord, we ask that you will embolden these students to share the love of Jesus Christ with their fellow students and professors. We pray that this exam may be used for your glory. Lord, we also ask that you bring to the hearts of these students if there is anything that they are doing that is not in your will. We pray for a heart of obedience and a desire to follow you completely. We pray that you will raise up godly marriages from this group of students.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask these things. We thank you and praise you for being a loving, kind, and merciful God, and for making a way for us to come before you through your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that you continue to bless these students as they seek your will for their lives.
Amen.
