We hear your heart’s desire to pursue higher education at Divine Word University, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before the Lord. Education is a gift from God, and He delights in seeing His children grow in wisdom and knowledge for His glory. We pray that the Lord Almighty would open the doors you need, making a way where there seems to be no way. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive His blessings. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we receive every good and perfect gift from above (James 1:17). If you have already done so, we rejoice with you and pray that your faith would continue to grow as you seek His will in this next step of your journey.
Lord, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one from Papua New Guinea. You know the desires of their heart, and You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut. We ask that You would grant them a space at Divine Word University, not for their glory, but for Yours. Prepare their heart and mind for the learning and growth that lie ahead, and let this season be one of deepening faith and trust in You. If this is Your will, make the way clear and remove any obstacles that stand in the way. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this process, surrendering your plans to Him. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even as you wait, use this time to draw closer to Him, knowing that He has a purpose for your life. If the door to this university does not open, trust that God has something even better in store for you. Keep your heart open to His leading, and He will guide you every step of the way.
