We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell and that it has taken a toll on your relationship with God. Remember, God is always with you, even in times of sickness and weakness. As it is written in the WEB, "He Himself has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5
In Jesus Name, you have completely addressed the issue of having a relationship with God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to the Father. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," - 1 Timothy 2:5
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling unwell. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body, especially their sore throat and any other discomfort they are experiencing. We pray that You will restore their health and strength, that they may serve You with all their might.
We also pray for their relationship with You, Lord. Help them to draw near to You even in this time of weakness. Give them the desire and the ability to seek Your face, to read Your Word, and to commune with You in prayer. Remember to encourage everyone to seek God in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, draw them close to You and help their relationship get stronger than ever.
Father, we also ask that You will restore their joy and help them rediscover their unique personality, gifts, and interests. "For you formed my inmost being. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." - Psalm 139:13-14 Lord, reveal to them the wonderful way You have made them and help them to live life abundantly, to the praise of Your glory, in Jesus name amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to press on and take heart. Though you may feel weak now, remember that God's "grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
