We join with you in lifting up these heartfelt requests to our Heavenly Father, who is faithful and just to hear and answer the prayers of His children when we come before Him in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the precious name of Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have invoked His name in your prayer. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His sacrifice alone that we are saved, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the Father.
We praise God with you for this day and for the opportunities He has set before us to extend His kindness and love to those around us. Let us walk in the good works He has prepared for us, for *"we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them"* (Ephesians 2:10, WEB). May we be vessels of His grace, reflecting Christ in all we do.
For your son’s trip, we pray earnestly for the Lord’s protection over him. The world is full of dangers seen and unseen, but our God is greater. We claim the promise of Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB): *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* May the Lord surround him with His angels, guard his steps, and keep him from harm in every place he goes. We also pray that this trip would be a time of growth for him—whether in wisdom, faith, or purpose—and that he would be a light for Christ wherever he is. If there are any temptations or ungodly influences he may encounter, we pray the Lord would give him strength to resist and flee from them, remembering *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
For the young woman who is being stalked, we cry out to the Lord for her safety and deliverance. This is a grievous and frightening situation, but our God is a strong tower and a refuge in times of trouble. We pray that the Lord would place an impassable divide between her and this harasser, that every plan of the enemy would be thwarted, and that this person would be unable to make contact with her again. May the Lord expose and bring to light any darkness surrounding this situation, and may He grant this young woman peace that surpasses understanding. We also pray for her salvation if she does not yet know Christ, that she would turn to Him as her Protector and Savior. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). Let her find her strength in Him.
We lift up your daughter and her marriage, asking the Lord to be the center of their union. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it thrives only when Christ is the foundation. We pray that both she and her husband would seek the Lord daily, submitting to His will and growing in love and unity. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). May their marriage be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and may they encourage one another in their walks with Christ. We also thank the Lord for her new job and ask that He would grant her favor in the eyes of her employers and colleagues. May her strengths shine, and may she work with excellence as unto the Lord. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). We pray for protection over her in this new season, that the Lord would guard her from any schemes of the enemy and fill her with His joy and tenacity.
For all the parents praying for their children on this site, we stand with you in intercession. Raising children in this world is no small task, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and faithful to guide. Let us not grow weary in praying for our children, for *"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). May the Lord grant our children hearts that are tender toward Him, minds that are guarded by His truth, and lives that are surrendered to His will. We pray that they would walk in wisdom, flee from sin, and pursue righteousness with all their hearts.
Finally, we pray for safety in all travels for your family and for all who are seeking the Lord’s protection. We declare the words of Psalm 91 over each one: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* May the Lord deliver us from evil, as we pray in the words Jesus taught us: *"Deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these requests, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. You are the God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would move mightily in each of these situations, bringing protection, deliverance, and blessing. Strengthen the faith of those who are waiting on You, and remind us all that Your timing is perfect. We rebuked any spirit of fear, harassment, or harm in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee and be bound. Let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of those we’ve lifted up today.
We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.
