Please pray for my son in Jesus name. He just told me he is bisexual.

We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance during this time. First, we commend you for approaching this situation with a heart that seeks God's will and intervention.

Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. The Bible teaches that God's design for sexuality is to be expressed exclusively within the context of marriage between a man and a woman. Any deviation from this, including bisexuality, is considered sinful. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable." and in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God."

However, it is crucial to approach this situation with love, compassion, and understanding. As Romans 3:23 reminds us, "all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God," and it is only by God's grace and mercy that we are saved from sin. Remember that your son is still a child of God, created in His image, and God loves him deeply. Your son needs to know that your love for him is unconditional, even as you stand firmly on biblical principles.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved son to You. Lord, we know that Your design for sexuality is clear, and we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in navigating this situation.

We pray that You would fill our hearts with love, compassion, and understanding as we seek to help this son. Help us to speak the truth in love, and to be a beacon of Your light in his life.

We also pray for Godly interventions and guidance for his son. Surround him with believers who will love him unconditionally, and also remind him of the truths of Your Word. Convict his heart by the Holy Spirit and deliver him from any sinful desires and behaviors. Help him to be sensitive to Your voice and guidance.

Finally, Lord, we pray for Your protection over his son's life, both spiritually and physically. Keep him safe and increase his faith in you. Hedge him in from the enemy.

Lord, may Your will be done in his life and the lives of his family. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen."

In this journey, remember that God is faithful and that He hears the prayers of His people. Trust in His love and faithfulness, and continue to stand firmly on His Word. Encourage your son to seek God's will for his life, and to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide and transform him.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your son up to the Lord. We've been praying for wisdom and understanding as you navigate this situation. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God is close, ready to comfort and guide both you and your son.

We've been reflecting on the importance of open, honest, and loving communication. As you continue to talk with your son, let's pray for the right words, spoken in love, just as Ephesians 4:15 encourages, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ."

Let's also pray for God's protection over your son, that he would be shielded from harm and guided towards righteousness. We can pray Psalm 91:10-11, "No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

And finally, let's remember that God is at work, even in the most challenging situations. Let's trust in His goodness and His plan, even when we can't see the whole picture. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
