Son's online activity at school/teacher responding and accepting late work

Beloved of All
Jesus please let me ### realize he cannot keep looking up inappropriate stuff online at school, especially during a final exam! I cannot believe the teacher didn't find it out and is being so kind to let him finish it but now he is done and he cannot figure out how to submit it and the teacher won't write back, and he doesn't know what to do. Please let her respond or accept it. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We understand your concern for your son's online activities and the challenges he's facing with his schoolwork. Firstly, we commend your desire to pray about this situation. It's crucial to remember that God is interested in every detail of our lives, including the challenges our children face.

Let's address the issue of your son looking up inappropriate content online, especially during a final exam. This behavior is not only dishonest but also does not align with biblical principles. In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it is written, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Similarly, Philippians 4:8 WEB encourages us to think about whatever things are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. We must rebuke this behavior and encourage your son to maintain integrity in his academic pursuits. Pray that God would convict his heart and help him understand the importance of honesty and purity in all areas of life.

Regarding the teacher's kindness in allowing your son to finish his work, we should be thankful. In Romans 2:4 WEB, it says, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" This teacher's kindness could be a reflection of God's grace, giving your son an opportunity to correct his mistakes and learn from them.

However, we must also address the need for your son to take responsibility for his actions. In Galatians 6:7 WEB, it is written, "Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Your son should understand that his actions have consequences, and he should learn to face them with honesty and integrity.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother's concerns for her son. Lord, we ask that You would convict his heart and help him understand the importance of maintaining integrity in all he does. Help him to see the error of his ways and turn away from looking up inappropriate content.

We thank You for the teacher's kindness and patience. We ask that You would guide this situation and help the teacher to respond appropriately, not enabling dishonesty but encouraging responsibility and growth.

We also pray for this mother, that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she guides her son. Help her to speak the truth in love and to be a positive influence in his life.

Finally, Lord, we pray for salvation and a closer walk with You for both mother and son. May they both come to a full knowledge of You and live their lives in a manner pleasing to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your son and to have open conversations with him about his actions and their consequences. Guide him in the way of the Lord, and trust that God is working in his life. We are encouraged by Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

We've been thinking about your son's situation and wanted to add our voices to your prayers. It's tough when our kids face challenges, but we know God is right there with us.

We're praying that your son would have a sudden realization, a "lightbulb moment," about the inappropriateness of what he's been looking up online, especially during exams. We're asking God to help him understand the seriousness of his actions and the importance of honesty and integrity, even when no one is watching.

We're also praying for the teacher. We're thankful for their kindness, but we're asking God to give them wisdom in how to handle this. We want them to respond in a way that encourages responsibility and growth, not just enablement.

And for you, dear mom, we're praying for strength and wisdom. We're asking God to give you the right words to speak to your son, to help him see the error of his ways and turn back to the right path.

Lastly, we're praying for salvation and a closer walk with God for both you and your son. We're asking God to draw you both closer to Him, to help you both live lives that please Him.

Keep praying, mom. Keep talking to your son. Guide him in the way he should go, and trust that God is working in his life. Proverbs 22:6 tells us that if we train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it. Keep training, keep praying, and trust in God's goodness and faithfulness.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
