We join you in lifting up your son to the Lord, thanking Him for His goodness and the blessings He bestows on us. It is wonderful that you have come to the Lord in prayer, as this is the way we can communicate with our heavenly Father and make our requests known to Him.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
And also in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Healing is indeed a promise from God, and we can trust in His divine will for your son's health. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved son to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon him. We pray that You will restore his health, break any fever, and protect him from any serious disease. We stand in faith, believing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
In the meantime, use this as a time to draw closer to God and trust Him more. We should never miss an opportunity to seek His face and grow deeper in our walk with Him. God is in control of this situation and desires that we rely on Him more and know Him better. We can find joy and peace in His presence, so that in all circumstances we can be content as we find our satisfaction in Him. God does not want us to be comfortable relying on ourselves or anything else. Rather He wants us to find our rest in Him alone, and this trial will give you an opportunity to grow in that.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that His will is perfect and that He loves your son even more than you do. Keep praying and believing, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
