We understand your concern for your son's university assessments, and we join you in praying for his success. However, we want to remind you that our prayers should be aligned with God's will and that our trust should be in Him, not just in the outcomes we desire.
Firstly, we should pray in Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Beloved, let us come before His throne of grace with confidence,
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved mother's son to You. Lord, you know the hard work and dedication he has put into his studies. We ask that You grant him the recall of the information that he has learned that he would make excellent grades. Your Word says in Colossians 3:23 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,". We commit his path into your hands and we ask that your will be done. Lord, help him to trust in You, and not just in his own abilities or the outcomes he desires. Help him to find his identity and security in You, not in his grades or academic achievements as it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.".
We also pray for this mother, that You would grant her Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in You and to support her son in a way that honors You.
We also take this opportunity to remind you that God is more concerned with our character and our relationship with Him than He is with our worldly successes. We encourage you to pray for your son's spiritual growth and his walk with the Lord, in addition to his academic achievements.
Lastly, we want to encourage your son to continue working diligently, as that is what he can control. God will do the rest and remember that God's Ways are not our ways.
