Well today was the day they were to come home from Hawaii. Guess what we got a phone call at 4:30 a.m. saying they missed their flight. My husband was very upset and yelled at him. Their plane was to leave at 10:30 p.m. and they got to the ticket counter at 10:02 p.m. and they wouldn't let them board. My son was actually mad at the airlines. He has been flying for a number of years and knows that you have to be at the airport at least 1 1/2 hours in advance. He finally admitted that it was his fault, but he still blamed part of it on the airlines. He now is to come home on Tuesday. He said there were no other flights. I checked the airlines and there is a flight that leaves on Sat. but it is $50 more per person. The others left on Sunday but were double the price. I had words with him and told him I felt he was being immature, etc. I can't beleive he is acting this way. He insists he hasn't changed, but he has. He has never acted so irresponsible. I told him I thought he was on drugs or is drinking. He laughs and tells me he is not. My instincts tell me he is on drugs. I am so very upset. He had everything going for him. He always did well in school, has 2 bachelors degrees and always had a good head on his shoulders. Now he can't even get home when he is supposed to. He has never been one to blame things on other people and now all of sudden his problems are someone's else's fault. My heart is just broken. We have always had a close relationship. I have never even had a fight with him until today. I know his new wife will tell him I don't have any right to tell him anything. I don't want to interfere in their life, but I can't stand to watch him go down hill. He has even started lying to me about things. Please pray for him and for me. I need to stay out of this. Pray that God guides me to do the right thing and for some peace of mind. When his first wife died he was actually thinking about becoming a missionary. How could some one do a complete reverse in such a short period of time. Please pray that his eyes are open to this woman. She is not good. I try not to judge people, but this girl has had problems all her life. She has 2 boys to 2 different men. One her parents have custody, the other lived with them, but I'm wondering if she will be able to get him back when she comes home. She has not seen them in over a month. It's all about her, her, her. My son has never been a selfish person, but I see him changing that everything is all about him. Please pray that he gets himself on the right track.

Thank you all. I continue to pray for all of you. I do not have much time to answer to you all, but you are in my prayers.

I am praying for you, your son and this whole situation. I am praying that God will place his mighty hand on this situation and sort it all out. You should remind your son about what God commands in regards to our parents. In fact no, better still I will ask God to touch both your Son and his wife with his divine hand that they will come to know that first they must seek God, then secondly they must respect what God commands in regards to parents, that you and your husband must have a special place in their lives also. Don't worry and trust in God. I for one have lifted this whole situation up to God and I have asked this be done in the name of Jesus Christ,amen.
