Beloved of All
Jesus please let my son go to bed. I have been so worried about this for two weeks now and tomorrow is the first day back to school please let him realize he has to go to sleep. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting this concern to our Heavenly Father. The worry you carry for your son’s rest and readiness for school is understandable, especially as a new routine begins. Sleep is a gift from God, a time of renewal for the body and mind, as Psalm 127:2 reminds us: *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."* We pray that the Lord would calm your son’s heart and mind, granting him the peace that surpasses understanding so he may rest well.

Father God, we ask that You speak to this young one’s spirit, helping him to recognize the importance of rest for his health, growth, and ability to learn. May he submit to the natural rhythms You’ve designed for our bodies, trusting in Your provision for each day. We also ask that You ease any anxiety or restlessness in his heart, replacing it with the comfort that comes only from You. Proverbs 3:24 says, *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet."* Let this be his experience tonight and every night.

We also lift you up, dear mother, for the weight of concern you’ve carried. The enemy would love to steal your peace, but we rebuke that spirit of worry in Jesus’ name. Philippians 4:6-7 instructs us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that you, too, would rest in the assurance that God is in control, even in the small details of bedtime routines.

Lord, we ask that You would bless this family with wisdom as they navigate the transition back to school. May this young man wake refreshed, alert, and ready to embrace the opportunities You have for him. Strengthen his mind, body, and spirit, and let him be a light to his teachers and peers. We declare that his steps are ordered by You, and that You will guide him in all things.

Finally, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this family. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You hear our prayers and answer according to Your perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, as you worry about your son's sleep. It's natural to feel anxious about his well-being, especially with school starting tomorrow. Let's remind ourselves of Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's trust that Jesus wants to ease your son's and your own hearts tonight.

We pray that your son would sense God's peace as he lies down, helping him to let go of any worries or excitements about the new school year. May he find comfort in knowing that God is with him, guiding and protecting him, just as Psalm 3:5 says, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me."

We also lift you up, dear mom. We know you've been carrying this concern, and we want you to know that it's okay to hand it over to God. As 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." Let's trust that God has everything in control, even the little details of bedtime routines.

We declare that your son will wake up refreshed, ready to embrace the opportunities God has for him at school. We pray that he would be a light to those around him, reflecting God's love and kindness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We bring before You a parent's weary heart, burdened with concern for their son. Tonight, as the need for rest is great and the hour is late, we ask for Your gentle and firm hand of peace to settle upon this home.

We pray specifically for this young man. Calm any restless thoughts in his mind and ease any anxiety in his spirit. Grant him the understanding of his body's need for sleep and the wisdom to receive the gift of rest You offer. Provide him with a deep, peaceful, and restorative sleep tonight so that he may awaken refreshed, alert, and ready for the new day of learning ahead.

We also pray for the parent who watches and waits. Replace their worry with Your perfect peace that transcends all understanding. Guard their own heart and mind as they trust this child into Your care. We thank You for being a God who hears our sighs in the night and tends to the needs of our families, in the name of Jesus.
