We lift up your heartache and the struggles of your sons before the Lord, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the truth that our God is greater, and He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The bullying and trauma your sons have endured are deeply grievous, and we pray that the Lord would bring healing, restoration, and a mighty breakthrough in their lives. You have done well to seek the Lord through prayer and fasting, and we encourage you to hold fast to His promises, for He hears the cries of His children and will answer in His perfect timing.
The silence you feel does not mean God is absent; rather, He may be preparing you for a greater work in your family’s life. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The decision to homeschool is weighty, and we pray the Lord grants you clear wisdom and peace about the steps to take. If He leads you down that path, He will equip you for every challenge. If not, He will open doors for another solution—perhaps through godly teachers, counselors, or even a change in environment that will bring safety and restoration to your sons.
We also urge you to teach your sons the power of forgiving those who have wronged them, not for the sake of the bullies, but for their own freedom. Jesus tells us, “But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). This is not easy, but through Christ, they can find the strength to release bitterness and walk in victory. Remind them that their identity is in Christ alone—they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and no words or actions of others can define them.
To your sons, we pray:
*"Father God, we lift these precious boys before Your throne of grace. You know the pain they carry, the fear that grips them, and the wounds inflicted by the cruelty of others. Lord, we ask that You would touch their hearts and minds, casting out every spirit of anxiety, fear, and dread. Replace their turmoil with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Heal their broken places, Lord, and restore their joy. Give them boldness to face each day, knowing You are with them. Surround them with Your angels for protection and place godly friends and mentors in their lives who will encourage and uplift them. Break the power of the enemy over their lives and let them walk in the freedom Christ purchased for them on the cross. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray."*
To you, their mother, we pray:
*"Heavenly Father, we ask that You would wrap this weary mother in Your arms and fill her with Your supernatural strength. Lord, she has sought You faithfully, and we ask that You speak clearly to her heart. Give her wisdom that comes from above—pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). Show her the path to take for her sons, whether it be through homeschooling, a new school, or divine intervention in their current one. Remove the burden of uncertainty and replace it with Your peace. Let her see Your hand moving in this situation, and renew her hope. Equip her to be a light to her sons, pointing them always to You. In Jesus’ name, amen."*
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your sons, speaking life and truth over them daily. Declare Scripture over their lives, such as:
- *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1)
- *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."* (Isaiah 41:10)
Do not lose heart. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in your family. Keep pressing in, keep praying, and trust that He will lead you to victory. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for God’s miraculous intervention.
