We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your family, lifting up your son’s academic struggles and your husband’s tax matters. Father, we know that You are the God of wisdom and provision, and we ask that You grant both understanding and favor in these situations.
For your son, we pray that You would calm his mind and help him recall all that he has studied. Lord, Your Word tells us in Proverbs 2:6, *"For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* We ask that You fill him with clarity and confidence as he takes his test and quiz. Strengthen his memory and help him to apply himself diligently. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his grades but by his identity in Christ, yet we also ask that You grant him success in his efforts as he honors You with his work.
For your husband, we pray for wisdom in handling his tax deductions. Lord, You know the details of his situation, and we ask that You guide him in making the right decisions. Your Word assures us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We trust that You will provide the clarity and resources he needs to resolve this matter justly and responsibly.
Father, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take root in their hearts. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which we can approach You with confidence. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will.
May Your grace and peace rest upon this family as they trust in You. Amen.
