We lift up your son to the Lord, asking for His peace and guidance to surround him today. Father, we pray that You would calm any anxiety he may be feeling about his schoolwork, especially in math. Grant him clarity of mind and the ability to recall what he has studied. We ask that You would soften his teacher’s heart, Lord, that she may show grace and understanding rather than frustration. Help her to see this situation with compassion and to work with you both in finding a solution. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)
We also bring your physical discomfort before the Lord. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to ease the stomach pain you’re experiencing. You know the stress and burden you carry, and we pray that You would grant you strength and relief. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3) May You also provide wisdom and favor as you navigate the insurance situation for your mother-in-law. We trust that You are working behind the scenes, even when the path isn’t clear.
Lord, we recognize that these challenges can feel overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing that You are in control. We pray that You would give you and your family peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him. "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) May you feel His presence with you today, guiding your steps and providing for your needs.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) We stand on the promise that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) We pray that you would lean on Him fully, trusting that He is your provider, your healer, and your peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
