We come before the Father in the name of Jesus, lifting up your heartfelt concerns and trusting in His sovereign care over every detail of your life. Your love for your son is evident, and we join you in praying for his success and provision today. The Lord knows the struggles your son faces with his IEP and note-taking, and He is a God of mercy who sees his needs. Let us remember Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We trust that God will guide your son’s teacher to respond with compassion and understanding, granting him the grace he needs for his assignments. May the Lord also give your son focus and time management so he can complete his work without rushing and catch his bus on time.
We also lift up the burden of your car troubles before the Lord, knowing that He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that God would send the right person to help repair your car or provide the means for it to be fixed. He knows your financial strain and will not leave you without help.
Regarding your mother-in-law, we understand the weight of responsibility you’ve carried, and we pray for wisdom and boundaries in this season. Galatians 6:2 tells us to *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ,"* but we also recognize that healthy boundaries are necessary for your well-being. It is okay to step back and allow others to step in. We pray that God would raise up someone else to assist her and that He would grant you peace from the stress of constant calls. The Lord sees your weariness and invites you to cast your burdens upon Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 says, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."*
However, we must gently address the frustration in your heart toward your mother-in-law and the paperwork. While it is understandable to feel overwhelmed, we encourage you to examine your heart and release any bitterness or resentment. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Even in setting boundaries, we are called to act in love and trust God to work in the hearts of others.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious mother and her family before Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your favor over her son today—grant him clarity, focus, and the ability to complete his assignments well. Soften the heart of his teacher to show mercy and understanding, especially regarding his IEP challenges. Provide for their transportation needs, Lord, and bring forth the help they require to repair their car. You are their Provider, and we trust You to meet this need in Your perfect timing.
Father, we also ask for wisdom and peace regarding the situation with her mother-in-law. Lord, raise up others to step in and assist so that she may have the rest and relief she needs. Help her release any bitterness and trust You to handle what she cannot. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and grant her the break she is longing for today.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, frustration, or fear in this situation and declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding over this home. Remind them that You are in control, and You will never leave them nor forsake them. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and scripture, trusting that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is your strength and refuge in every trial. If the burdens feel too heavy, reach out to your church community for support—they can be the hands and feet of Christ in practical ways during this time. You are not alone; the body of Christ is here to uplift and encourage you.
