We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for this young man, asking that You indeed place a hedge of protection around him—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We claim this promise over him, Lord, and ask that Your heavenly hosts encamp around him, shielding him from every scheme of the enemy.
We also pray for the exposure of any hidden darkness that may seek to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* Father, we ask that You bring to light any abuse, manipulation, or evil intent directed toward him. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of fear, trauma, and oppression in Jesus’ name, declaring that he is covered by the blood of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
We encourage you, dear parent, to continue covering your son in prayer daily, speaking life and truth over him. Remind him of his identity in Christ—that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that God has a purpose for his life. If there are any areas where he may be vulnerable—whether through friendships, online activity, or other influences—we urge you to guide him with wisdom and godly counsel. Proverbs 22:6 instructs, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."*
Father, we also pray for healing in any areas where he may have already experienced harm. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Pour out Your comfort and restoration upon him, replacing every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You, that he may walk in the fullness of Your protection and purpose.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
