We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of concern and faith in Your mighty power. We stand in agreement with this prayer, asking that You indeed place a hedge of protection around him—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* Lord, we claim this promise over him, that Your angels would encamp around him, shielding him from harm and guiding his steps.
We also pray that You would expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them."* Father, we ask that You bring to light any schemes of the enemy, whether in relationships, environments, or influences, so that they may be dealt with according to Your justice. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, abuse, or oppression that may be lurking in his life, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the confidence and security that comes only from You. Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his heart.
Father, if there are areas where he may be vulnerable—perhaps through unwise choices, unhealthy relationships, or even his own struggles—we ask that You convict him gently but firmly, leading him to repentance and restoration. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May he lean wholly on You, seeking Your wisdom and guidance in every decision.
We also pray for his spiritual growth, that he would come to know You more deeply, love You more fervently, and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You draw him with cords of love, that he may confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, for *"there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Let him experience the freedom and joy that comes from being a child of God, washed in the blood of the Lamb.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to protect, guide, and bless this young man. May he grow into a man after Your own heart, strong in faith, bold in truth, and overflowing with Your love. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
