We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we stand in the gap for this young man, asking for Your divine protection to surround him like a mighty fortress. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of thorns around him, just as You did for Job, so that the enemy cannot touch him without Your permission (Job 1:10).
We pray specifically for protection from all forms of abuse—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Father, we rebuke every spirit of violence, manipulation, and deception that may seek to harm him. We ask that You expose every hidden deed of darkness in his life, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known (Luke 8:17). Bring every scheme of the enemy into the light, Lord, and let Your truth prevail.
We thank You for dispatching Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard and keep him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). Let him dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and draw him closer to You. Let him grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life into him and point him toward Your truth. Guard his heart and mind, Lord, and let him be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that may try to take hold of him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves him (Romans 8:37). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him walk in the confidence of Your protection and provision (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up his parents and caregivers to You, Lord. Give them wisdom, discernment, and strength as they guide and protect him. Let their home be a place of safety, love, and godly instruction. Equip them to raise him in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), so that he may grow to know You intimately and walk in Your ways.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness to watch over this young man. May he come to know You as his Savior and Lord, if he does not already, and may he walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and have access to You (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Amen.
