We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in agreement for his protection and deliverance from every form of harm. Your prayer reflects a parent’s heart that seeks God’s covering, and we commend you for turning to the Father in faith. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* What a mighty promise that our Heavenly Father watches over those He loves!
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:10, *"See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven."* Your son is precious in God’s sight, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is faithful to expose the works of darkness, for Ephesians 5:11 commands us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* We pray that any hidden schemes of the enemy against your son would be brought to light and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
Yet, as we pray for his protection, we must also remember that true safety is found in a life surrendered to Christ. If your son does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to pray earnestly for his salvation, for there is no greater protection than being hidden in Christ. As it is written in Proverbs 18:10, *"The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe."* Let us pray that your son would run to Jesus, finding refuge in Him alone.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promise to be a shield and a fortress to those who trust in You. We ask that You surround this son with Your hedge of protection, guarding him from all physical, emotional, and spiritual harm. Lord, expose every hidden work of darkness in his life and in the lives of those around him. Send Your mighty angels to encamp around him, keeping him from danger and evil. If there are areas where he has strayed from Your truth, convict his heart and draw him back to You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom and discernment. We declare that no harm shall come near him, for You, O Lord, are his protector. May he grow in the knowledge of Your love and walk in the fullness of Your purposes for his life. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
