We join you in lifting up this precious son to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. Father God, we come before Your throne of grace with hearts full of faith, believing in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You touch this young man’s esophagus, throat, stomach, and every affected area with Your healing hand. Lord, we rebuke gastroesophageal reflux disease and every related symptom in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares that You sent Your word and healed them (Psalm 107:20), so we speak healing over this body, commanding every cell, tissue, and organ to align with Your perfect design.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands, minds, and decisions so that they may be instruments of Your healing (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give this son and his family peace that surpasses all understanding as they walk through this trial, knowing that You are with them (Philippians 4:6-7). Strengthen their faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when the journey feels long.
We also take a moment to acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. If this family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of seeking healing would draw them into a personal relationship with Him. For those who already walk with Christ, may this trial deepen their trust in You.
Lord, we stand on Your Word, which says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and You will raise them up (James 5:15). We declare restoration over this body and ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through healing, strength to endure, or a testimony that points others to You. Thank You, Father, for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. We trust You with this son’s life and health, believing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
