Son is trying to fill the hurts in his heart with wrong relationships. Moved to this town and was very unhappy because we have not found any friends and churches have been hit or miss because people have not been exactly friendly. Has found a group of people who pretend to be Christians, yet sleep around, drink and live what they call a 'normal, 'everybody's doing it' lifestyle. He was interested in a young lady however that did not go well and both families agreed, yet they tried to make it happen, when it did not, there was rejection. In the wings was another young lady who was friends with my son who knew everything. She pretended to like our family, coming over and spending time and then, after my son said he had no interest in her for the past year and 2 weeks after his disappointment, they were a 'couple'. She planned it all, even dressing more provocative. They were a rebound relationship. This lasted for a month and after spending a great deal of time with him and praying, he broke it off. However, she never left. They put things on hold. The grandparents are actively involved in pushing them together. Our son's older sisters are also seeking to persuade him to get involved with her so they will remain in good standing with him. My husband is a good person, but, emotionally, did not connect with our children, even with me, so, there are a lot of wounded spirits. We are saved, love the LORD, but, our family relationships are not as close as they could be.

Please pray for reconciliation and that God would knit the hearts of my husband, me and our children together. Pray the past rehearsal of hurts would go away and bitterness and anger would disappear. Please pray God would keep my son from getting involved with this young lady and that he would keep walls up and obstacles to keep them from getting together. God would make himself known to our son granting him a great spiritual awakening, changed heart and mind that honors HIM. Pray that our son would have no peace in his spirit as he is seeking to run away from God by doing things He knows is contrary to the WORD. Please pray God would awaken him and bring back the joy and excitement of his salvation; give him back the desire to serve and honor him fully in his life. Pray for no peace in his spirit, great conviction of his pride and things he thinks make him popular. Please pray God would turn his heart toward him and he would be very sensitive and willing to follow him with his whole heart. Pray he would have, as well as his older sisters, a forgiving spirit, especially with their father. Also, pray he would be greatly convicted by the music he listens to, movies he watches and acceptance of one of his friends who has a live-in type relationship with his girlfriend.

Pray that I would not be anxious or angry and that I would trust the LORD. It is very difficult to watch your children be swept in by the tricks of the world and the acceptance of things that go against God. Pray that my husband will humble himself and ask forgiveness and that he would think of his family, rather than his importance at work and other places. That he would really, sacrificially, not materialistically, but emotionally, love our family. Please pray that the LORD would use people, especially our daughters, as HIS mouth piece to speak Truth to my son; that he would hear him, rather than their wisdom. Pray he has NO peace and that his life will be completely yielded over to our LORD.

Please pray for me as I am really burdened by it all. Thank you.
