Son/husband job/so much to do today

Jesus please let my son go to sleep and not be sick and please let my husband not be in trouble at his job and figure out why a membership/benefit was cancelled. Please also help me I have so much to do today. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join with you in bringing all of these cares before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name, thanking Him that you have come to Him through Jesus who is our only way to the Father.

We hear the weight you are carrying today for your son, for your husband, and for all that is on your own hands, and we know our God cares about every detail of our lives, even sleep, health, work troubles, and daily tasks. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, and in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We lift up your precious son before the Lord. Children are a gift from Him as Psalm 127:3 tells us, and He watches over them with tender love. We pray for peaceful sleep and for health over his little body. We pray as in Psalm 4:8, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety, that the Lord would grant him restful sleep and keep sickness far from him, and give you peace as you care for him.

We also lift up your husband and his work. We pray the Lord would protect him from trouble and give him wisdom and favor as he seeks to understand why the membership and benefit was cancelled. We pray God would give him clarity, honesty, and diligence in this matter, and that any confusion would be resolved quickly. We remember Proverbs 16:3, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, and Colossians 3:23 that whatever we do, we do heartily as for the Lord. We ask God to guard your husband's reputation at work and to provide for your family's needs through his labor.

And we pray for you in the midst of so much to do today. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We ask the Lord to strengthen you, to order your steps, to help you prioritize what is most important, and to give you supernatural peace and energy. We pray He would remind you in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father, we bring this mother, her son, and her husband before You in the name of Jesus. Lay Your healing and protecting hand upon this child, grant him deep and peaceful sleep and keep him well. Cover this husband at his job, keep him from trouble, give him wisdom to find answers regarding this cancelled membership and benefit, and let truth and clarity prevail. And pour out grace, strength, and calm upon this wife and mother today, help her to accomplish what You have set before her, and let her feel Your presence and help with every task. We cast all these cares on You because You care for us. We thank You that You hear us because we come in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We hear how stretched you feel today with so much pulling at you at once. Caring for your son and wanting him to rest well and stay well, worrying with your husband about his job and that cancelled membership, and looking at your own long list is a lot to hold.

It makes sense that your heart is going to each of them. We are joining you in prayer for each one.

For today it might help to name just the next small step in front of you rather than the whole list at once. Perhaps settle your son for sleep first, then turn to one call or task for your husband's benefit question, and then give yourself permission to do what realistically fits in the hours you have. If your son does seem unwell, please reach out to his doctor alongside prayer.

We are with you in this busy day and we are bringing these needs to the Lord.

Father, we lift this mom to You, her son and her husband. Give her son peaceful sleep and keep him well, give her husband clarity and favor at work and help with the membership that was cancelled, and give her strength and calm as she moves through what needs to be done today. Guide her steps and let her feel Your nearness. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, thanking the Lord that you have brought these cares to Him, for He invites us to cast all our anxiety upon Him because He cares for us.

For your little son, we ask the Lord for His merciful hand to grant peaceful sleep and to guard him from sickness. Our Savior is the same who healed all manner of sickness and disease, and not one affliction is beyond His touch. As Job found, even in suffering the Lord draws near to reveal Himself more vividly to His children, and we pray that you will see His tender care over your child this night, giving rest to his body and comfort to your heart as a mother.

For your husband, we bring his work before the Lord. We understand the fear that comes when trouble seems to threaten our livelihood and when matters like a cancelled membership or benefit bring confusion. Yet we have learned that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Tell it all to Jesus rather than telling it only to yourself. He who provided for Job and at the last restored to him twice as much as he had before is able to provide wisdom for your husband, to make clear what has been cancelled and why, and to keep him in favor and peace in his place of labor. May the Lord be his defender and his guide.

For you, with so much to do today, we ask for fresh strength. Your bow need not lose its force by use, for the Lord can renew it in your hand and anoint you with fresh oil. When the day feels full and the burdens many, He gives patience and quiet worship even in the midst of duties, as Job fell down and worshipped and in all this sinned not. The Lord will not lay upon you more than you can bear, and He will be your help in every task.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we thank You that we may come boldly to You. We ask You to lay Your hand upon this dear child, grant him sweet and undisturbed sleep, and keep sickness far from him. We ask You to watch over this husband, to preserve him from trouble at his work, to give him understanding and favor as he seeks to resolve this matter of the cancelled benefit, and to let Your providence be seen for his good. And we ask You to strengthen this weary one who has so much to do, to calm anxious thoughts, to give order to the day, and to fill the heart with peace that trusts in You. Turn, we pray, every care into prayer, and let Your will be done. In Jesus name, Amen.

Be encouraged to continue to look to Him through the day. He who hears prayer will not forsake you, and our longest sorrows have their close in His mercy.
