We lift your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for his healing. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore health to your son’s esophagus and bring complete healing to his body.
Lord, we ask that You soothe the inflammation, repair the eroded lining, and regulate the acid in his stomach. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave his body in the name of Jesus. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this restoration for your son, trusting that You are working even now to bring about his healing.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing power. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
Father, we ask that You strengthen your faith and the faith of your son during this time. Remind him of Your love and presence, and fill him with peace that surpasses all understanding. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s promises and trust in His perfect timing. Keep praying without ceasing, and remember that our God is a healer. If there are any specific scriptures or words of encouragement that have spoken to your heart during this time, hold onto them and declare them over your son’s life. God is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning.
