We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over your son, Lord, trusting that You are working even now to bring healing to his esophagus and stomach.
We pray that You would soothe the inflammation, knit together the eroded lining, and bring balance to his body. May Your healing touch flow through every cell, bringing restoration and wholeness. We also ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals attending to him, that they may be guided by Your hand in their treatment and care.
Father, we know that healing comes from You alone, and we trust in Your perfect will. Whether You choose to heal him instantly or through the process of medical treatment, we ask that Your peace would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help him to rest in Your promises and to feel Your presence with him in this time of need.
We also lift up his spiritual well-being, asking that You would draw him closer to You through this trial. May he come to know You more deeply as his Healer, Provider, and Comforter. Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are always with him, even in the midst of pain.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place here, and we stand on Your promises of healing and hope.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to Your children. We trust in Your goodness and love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
