We come before the Lord with grateful hearts for His provision in taking your son to the doctor and receiving the care he needs. We rejoice that he has been diagnosed and is on the path to recovery, and we thank God for the doctor’s note that alleviates the pressure from school. The Great Physician, Jesus Christ, is our healer, and we trust in His power to restore health. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on this promise for both your son and your husband.
Father, we lift up this husband to You now. It is clear he is under great strain, not only from illness but from the demands of work and an important appointment. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit. Give him the endurance he needs to fulfill his responsibilities without further harm to his health. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). May he find rest in You, even in the midst of his duties. We pray for supernatural healing to flow through him, that he may recover quickly and be renewed in strength.
We also ask for wisdom and clarity for your son as he tackles the makeup work from school. Lord, grant him focus, understanding, and the ability to manage his time well. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:27). May he feel Your peace guiding him through this challenge, and may he grow in discipline and perseverance.
We rebuke the spirit of sickness and exhaustion in this family, declaring that it has no place in their lives. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we command healing and restoration to take hold. "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We declare that this family will walk in the abundant life Christ has promised, free from the snares of illness and overwhelm.
Lord, we also lift up this marriage to You. In times of stress, it can be easy to grow weary or frustrated with one another, but we pray that You would knit their hearts together in unity and love. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). May they lean on one another and on You, finding strength in their commitment to each other.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name that brings healing, hope, or salvation. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice, Your love, and Your power at work in this family. Amen.
