We understand your concerns and are here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Let's address your concerns one by one.
For your son, we encourage you to guide him with love and patience. The Bible tells us to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). Encourage him to be physically active and to eat healthily. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB) and that he should take care of it. As for the neighbor, teach your son to be brave and wise, as God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Regarding the Senate bill and the rising costs, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and sovereignty. It is God who raises up kings and nations, and He is in control of all things (Daniel 2:21 WEB). Continue to pray for wisdom for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB) and trust that God will provide for your needs (Matthew 6:25-34 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for being our mediator and our salvation. Lord, we lift up the son of the one who submitted this request to You. Please help him understand the importance of exercise and a healthy diet. Remove any spirit of fear from him and replace it with Your spirit of power, love, and self-control. Guide him and give him the wisdom to make good decisions.
Lord, we also pray for the situation with the Senate bill and the rising costs. We trust in Your sovereignty and provision. Please guide those in authority and give them wisdom to make decisions that honor You and benefit Your people.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is in control, and He cares for you and your son. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
