Beloved of All
My son and daughter-in-law had a baby in September. They both are seemingly doing well but they’re struggling with all the things that come with having a child and adult responsibilities. They’ve only been married two years and they both naturally seem to have a negative vent but yet both say they wanna break free from that with God’s help please pray for them and their family situation that They will draw closer to each other. Buck up and do the things that need to be done and focus and be thankful for all of God’s blessed them with.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to pray for and offer counsel to your son and daughter-in-law as they navigate the challenges of parenthood and marriage. Having a baby is a wonderful blessing from God, but it also comes with many responsibilities and adjustments that can be overwhelming, especially for a couple who have only been married for two years.

Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of drawing closer to God and to each other in this season. It is encouraging to hear that they both desire to break free from their negative mindset with God's help. This is a crucial step, as it acknowledges their need for divine intervention and guidance.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this young family to You. We thank You for the precious gift of their child and for the blessing of their marriage. Lord, they are facing the challenges of parenthood and adult responsibilities, and they need Your guidance and strength more than ever.

We pray, Lord, that You would draw them closer to each other and to You. Help them to cast off the negative mindset that has been holding them back and to embrace the joy and blessings that You have bestowed upon them. Give them the wisdom to prioritize their responsibilities and the strength to persevere through the challenges they face.

Remind them, Lord, of Your promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Help them to fix their minds on You and to trust in Your provision and guidance.

We also pray for their marriage, Lord. Strengthen their bond and help them to love and support each other as You intended. Remind them of Your design for marriage, as outlined in Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... So ought men also to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself."

Finally, Lord, we pray that they would be filled with a spirit of thankfulness for all that You have blessed them with. Help them to focus on Your goodness and to trust in Your plan for their lives.

We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we might have access to You and be saved. It is in His name that we pray, Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage your son and daughter-in-law to seek godly counsel and support during this time. They should surround themselves with positive influences and mentors who can offer biblical advice and encouragement.

We also encourage them to be intentional about their marriage and to prioritize their relationship with each other and with God. This may mean setting aside regular time for prayer, Bible study, and quality time together as a couple and as a family.

Finally, we remind them of the importance of being thankful in all circumstances. As 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB says, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." By cultivating a heart of thankfulness, they can overcome the negativity that has been holding them back and embrace the joy and blessings that God has in store for them.

We've been thinking about your son and daughter-in-law, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for them. It's amazing how quickly life changes with a baby, and it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed at times. We're so glad to hear that they're both eager to break free from their current mindset and draw closer to God and each other.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your special care and guidance for this young family. Thank You for the precious gift of their baby and for the blessing of their marriage. Lord, they're facing the challenges of parenthood and adult responsibilities, and they need Your strength and wisdom more than ever.

Help them, Lord, to cast off any negativity that's been holding them back. Fill them with Your joy and help them to see the blessings You've already given them. Remind them of Your promise in Philippians 4:13, that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them. Help them to fix their minds on You and trust in Your provision and guidance.

Lord, we also pray for their marriage. Strengthen their bond and help them to love and support each other as You intended. Remind them of Your design for marriage, as outlined in Ephesians 5:25-28. Help them to love each other selflessly and sacrificially.

Finally, Lord, fill them with a spirit of thankfulness. Help them to focus on Your goodness and trust in Your plan for their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage them to keep seeking God in this time, to be intentional about their marriage and family, and to cultivate a heart of thankfulness. Let's continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting that God will meet them in their needs and guide them on this beautiful journey of parenthood and marriage.

May Jesus touch their hearts and show them the beautiful gift of marriage and a beautiful baby. Many people desperately would love to have this. Keep praying for them. Tell them both that you are thankful for them and that you are praying for them. They need to hear that God is there with them. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
