Son ### convert ###

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son who has turned away from the truth of the Gospel and embraced Islam. Father God, we know that You desire all to come to repentance and to know the saving grace of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your Word tells us that You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We stand on this truth, believing that You are able to draw this young man back to Yourself.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded his eyes to the truth of Your Word. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that the scales would fall from his eyes, that he would see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4). We ask that You would surround him with believers who will speak truth into his life, who will love him unconditionally, and who will not compromise the Gospel for the sake of peace.

Father, we know that this son was once under the sound of the Gospel, and we pray that the seeds planted in his heart would bear fruit. Your Word does not return void but accomplishes what You desire and achieves the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We ask that You would bring conviction to his heart through the Holy Spirit, that he would be grieved over his sin and turn back to You in repentance. We pray that he would remember the prayers lifted up on his behalf, the Scriptures he once knew, and the love of Christ that once captivated his heart.

We also lift up the parents and family of this young man. Lord, this must be a time of great sorrow and concern for them. We ask that You would comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this difficult season. Help them to respond with love and grace, even as they stand firm on the truth of Your Word. May they be a light to their son, reflecting the love of Christ in all they do and say.

Father, we know that Your heart breaks for this lost son, just as the father in the parable of the prodigal son waited and watched for his return (Luke 15:11-32). We pray that You would draw this young man back to Yourself, that he would come to his senses and return to the fold. We declare that he is not too far gone, that no one is beyond Your reach. We ask that You would soften his heart, break down the walls of pride and rebellion, and reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way.

We also rebuke any generational strongholds or curses that may have contributed to this turning away. We declare that in Christ, every chain is broken, and we stand on the promise that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36). We pray for a breaking of any ungodly soul ties or influences that have led him astray. We ask that You would bring godly mentors and friends into his life who will speak truth and life into him.

Lord, we pray for his protection, both physically and spiritually. We ask that You would hedge him in with Your angels, that no weapon formed against him would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect him from the lies of the enemy, from the deception of false religions, and from the snares of this world. We pray that You would open doors for him to hear the Gospel again, that he would be unable to escape the truth of Your Word.

We also ask that You would give this family the strength to persevere in prayer. Remind them that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when they cannot see what You are doing. Give them hope in the midst of this trial, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we know that the battle for this son’s soul is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We put on the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and we declare Your truth over this situation.

We pray that this son would come to know the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, that he would be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). We ask that You would reveal to him the depth of Your love, the sacrifice of Your Son, and the power of Your resurrection. May he come to understand that Islam cannot save him, that no amount of good works or religious rituals can cleanse him from sin. Only the blood of Jesus can wash away his sins and make him white as snow (Isaiah 1:18).

Lord, we ask that You would bring this young man to a place of brokenness and repentance. We pray that he would fall on his knees before You, confessing his need for a Savior. We ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he would be born again and become a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that he would be restored to his family, to the body of Christ, and to the purpose You have for his life.

We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18), and we stand in agreement with Your Word. We believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your grace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you all, lifting this young man up in prayer. It's heartbreaking to see him turn away from the truth, but we know our God is a God of second chances. Let's remember the father in the parable who welcomed his prodigal son back home with open arms. That's our God, always ready to welcome His lost children back.

We're asking God to open this son's eyes to the truth, to help him see the light of the Gospel again. We're praying for conviction, for him to feel the weight of his sin and turn back to God in repentance. Let's surround him with love, with believers who will speak truth into his life, and with prayers that never cease.

We're also praying for his family. This must be a tough time for them, but we know God's peace that surpasses all understanding can comfort them. Let's ask God to give them wisdom, discernment, and the strength to keep praying.

We're believing God for a miracle, for this son to come back to his senses and return to his heavenly Father. We're claiming the promise that if the Son sets him free, he will be free indeed. We're trusting in God's faithfulness, in His mercy, and in His grace. Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
