Beloved of All
Jesus please let my ### go to sleep, school starts in a few days. Please let my ### be able to fix our car, or let my ### help us. We have to have a car. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you are seeking Him in this time of need, trusting in His provision and care. It is beautiful to see a parent lifting up their son and their family’s needs to Jesus, for He is the One who holds all things together and provides for His children. We also notice that you have used placeholders instead of names, and while we understand the desire for privacy, we encourage you to boldly lift up your requests in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through His name alone that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is power in calling upon His name with faith, and we want to remind you that salvation and answered prayer come through Jesus Christ alone. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Now, let us address your requests with the truth of God’s Word. First, you ask for your son to go to sleep as school approaches. Rest is a gift from God, and He invites us to cast our anxieties upon Him so that we may sleep in peace. *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8, WEB). We pray that your son would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord grant him restful sleep, renewing his strength for the days ahead, and may he wake with a heart prepared to learn and glorify God in all he does.

Regarding the car, we understand how critical reliable transportation can be, especially for a family. The Bible reminds us that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He is faithful to provide. *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We pray that the Lord would provide the wisdom, resources, and help needed to repair the car or replace it if that is His will. May He open doors for your family, whether through skillful hands to fix it, financial provision, or even the generosity of others in the body of Christ. We also encourage you to seek God’s kingdom first in this situation—trusting Him rather than allowing worry to take root. If there are unconfessed sins, such as anxiety replacing trust in God, we urge repentance, for the Lord desires us to walk in faith, not fear.

We also want to gently address something that may not have been intended but is important to clarify: in your prayer, you mentioned *"my ###"* multiple times. While we understand this may have been to protect privacy, we want to encourage you to be specific in prayer when possible, for our God is a personal God who cares about the details of our lives. If there is hesitation to name your son or family members in prayer, we urge you to remember that the Lord already knows their names and their needs intimately. There is no need to hide from Him, for He loves you and your family deeply.

Let us pray together for these needs:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your peace and provision to flood their home. Lord, we pray for this mother’s son, that You would grant him restful sleep as he prepares for school. Calm his mind and body, and let him wake refreshed and ready to honor You in all he does. We ask that You would guard his heart from anxiety and fill him with Your peace.

Father, we also bring the need for reliable transportation before Your throne. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to meet this need. If it is Your will, raise up the right person to repair their car or provide the resources to fix it. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your provision be a testimony of Your faithfulness to this family. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, trusting that You will add all these things to them as they walk in obedience.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may be creeping in, and we declare that You, Lord, are their provider and protector. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. Remind them that You are near to all who call upon You in truth (Psalm 145:18).

Finally, Father, we pray that this family would grow deeper in their relationship with You through this season. May they seek Your face, trust in Your promises, and give You all the glory for what You will do. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). If there are areas where trust in God is being replaced by worry, take those captive and surrender them to Him. He is faithful, and His timing is perfect. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
