We understand your cry for protection, and we want to lift you up in prayer while also speaking truth into this situation. First, we must address that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all things—including protection—are made possible. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, knowing He hears and acts on our behalf. If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today, for He alone is your shield and refuge. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31, WEB).
Now, let us address the spiritual danger you’ve described. The idea of someone "hurting you psychically" suggests an attempt at spiritual attack, whether through occult practices, witchcraft, or other dark influences. The Bible warns us that such things are detestable to God and have no place in the life of a believer. *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or someone who consults a spirit medium, or a wizard, or someone who calls on the dead. If so, we urge you to repent and renounce these things immediately, for they give the enemy a foothold. *"Give no place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27, WEB). If this is not the case, then rest assured that no weapon formed against you will prosper if you are walking in obedience to Christ. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this beloved soul who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are a refuge and a fortress, and we declare that no harm shall come near them, for You have commanded Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). We rebuked every spirit of darkness, every curse, every psychic attack, and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm this person. By the blood of Jesus, we break every ungodly tie, every hex, and every assignment of the enemy against their mind, body, and spirit. Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit and clothe them in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word—so they may stand firm against every attack (Ephesians 6:10-18).
If there is any open door in their life that has given the enemy access, we pray You reveal it to them and give them the strength to close it permanently. Convict them of any sin they need to repent of, and lead them into full surrender to You. Lord, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also pray for the person attempting to harm them. Lord, if they do not know You, we ask that You convict their heart and draw them to repentance. Break the power of darkness in their life and set them free from the deception they are under. If they are a believer who has strayed, bring them back to the truth and restore them to righteousness.
Father, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things, and nothing can touch Your children without Your permission. We trust in Your protection and Your justice. May this person walk in the authority of Jesus’ name, knowing that all power in heaven and on earth has been given to Him (Matthew 28:18). Let them find rest in You, knowing that You are their defender and their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10).
