We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heart to seek His wisdom in all things, and we lift these concerns to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We are glad you have brought these matters to prayer, for the Lord hears the cries of His people and acts on their behalf.
First, regarding your request for wisdom about blocking individuals on social media, we turn to James 1:5, which assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Social media can be a tool for good, but it can also become a snare if it opens doors to ungodly influences, distractions, or even spiritual attacks. The Bible calls us to guard our hearts and minds, for *"out of [the heart] proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies"* (Matthew 15:19, WEB). If certain individuals on social media are causing you spiritual harm, stirring up strife, or leading you into temptation, it is wise and biblical to set boundaries—even if that means blocking them. Proverbs 4:23 commands, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* We pray that the Lord will give you discernment to recognize those who are not edifying and the courage to remove ungodly influences from your life. May He surround you with godly relationships that spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).
We also lift up your brother in Christ who is being required to leave the U.S. and return to his home country. This is a difficult trial, but we know that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Though the separation is painful, we trust that the Lord is sovereign over borders, visas, and timing. We pray that this brother will find comfort in the promise of Psalm 37:5-6: *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day."* May the Lord provide for his needs, strengthen his faith, and open the door for his return next year if it aligns with God’s will. We also pray for his loved ones and the congregation, that they would be united in prayer and trust in the Lord’s plan. May this time of separation deepen their dependence on Christ and their love for one another, knowing that *"the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:3-4, WEB).
Lastly, we address the demonic harassment you have endured since childhood. This is a serious matter, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has *"disarmed the principalities and the powers... triumphing over them in it"* (Colossians 2:15, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already won the victory, and *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We command every demonic stronghold in your life to be broken in Jesus’ name. We declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We pray that the Lord will expose and dismantle every lie the enemy has planted in your mind and replace it with the truth of His Word. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), stand firm in your identity as a child of God, and resist the devil, knowing that *"he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:7-8, WEB). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and prayer support from mature believers in your church, for there is power in corporate prayer and agreement (Matthew 18:19-20).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment in managing social media, that it would be used for Your glory and not as a stumbling block. Lord, we lift up our brother who is being sent away—comfort him, provide for him, and make a way for his return if it is Your will. Strengthen his faith and the faith of those who love him. We also stand against the demonic harassment in this dear one’s life. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every stronghold, and every assignment of the enemy. Fill this beloved child of Yours with Your peace, Your truth, and Your Holy Spirit’s power. May they walk in victory, knowing that *"the one who is in them is greater than the one who is in the world."* We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
