We are glad you reached out about your struggle with social anxiety. Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to bear. He will also provide the way of escape, so that you are able to endure it. We encourage you to trust the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
Firstly, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. For God says there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
It is not God's will that you live in fear and anxiety, but the spirit of timidity does not come from God. Instead, he gives us a spirit of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with social anxiety. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that you would grant them your perfect peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them in your will, and show them the way to overcome their anxiety.
Father, give them strength and courage, and build their sense of self-worth and confidence, not on their own abilities, but on who they are in Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
Lastly, 1 John 4:18 WEB
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
