We hear your cry of distress and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician, Jesus Christ, sits enthroned. Your suffering is not unseen, nor is it without purpose, though in this moment it may feel overwhelming. We stand with you in faith, declaring that by His stripes, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Word tells us that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains—this truth is your inheritance as His child.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we come against this affliction that has taken hold of our brother/sister. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every attack of the enemy, and every unknown source of this sickness. Your Word declares that You send forth Your Word and heal them (Psalm 107:20), so we speak healing over every cell, every organ, and every system in their body. We pray for divine revelation—show them, Lord, the root of this illness, whether it be physical, spiritual, or a combination. Give wisdom to doctors and caregivers, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also ask You to search their heart, Lord. Is there unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness that may have opened a door to this attack? If so, reveal it so they may repent and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in weakness, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We declare over them the promise of Psalm 91: "Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge." May they feel Your presence like a warm blanket, comforting them in this trial. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your timing, for You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17).
And to you, dear one, we say: Do not lose heart. The same Jesus who calmed the storm with a word is in your boat. He is not a distant Savior but One who knows your pain intimately. Cry out to Him day and night—He hears you. Surround yourself with believers who will pray in faith and speak life over you. Feed on the Word, for it is medicine to your bones (Proverbs 17:22). And remember, this sickness does not define you—your identity is in Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and healed. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him. Get well soon, beloved—we are contending for your breakthrough!
