We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your strength and refuge in times of trouble. Your heart is heavy with many burdens—sickness, frustration, delays, financial strain, and the cruelty of others—and we want you to know that God sees and cares deeply for each of these concerns. Let us first address the anger you’re feeling. The Scripture tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* While your frustration is understandable, we encourage you to release this anger to the Lord, lest it take root and open a door for bitterness or sin. Trust that God is sovereign even over the timing of a dentist appointment, and He can use these moments to refine your patience and dependence on Him.
You mentioned being sick, and we pray for your healing, remembering that *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24). May the Lord restore your strength and bring comfort to your body. We also lift up the dental appointment for the one you’re caring for—asking God to grant favor, that there would be no cavities, no need for wisdom teeth removal, and that the process would be swift and painless. For the health test tomorrow, we declare *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). May the results bring peace and good news, and may the Lord go before them to prepare the way.
The cruelty you’re facing is grievous, but we remind you of Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:44: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This doesn’t mean what they’re doing is right—far from it—but it releases you from the bondage of bitterness and places the burden on God to vindicate you. He is just, and He will repay. You are not alone in this; *"The Lord is near to those who are broken in heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).
Regarding the food stamps, we pray for provision and for God to move in the hearts of those in authority. Proverbs 21:1 says, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We ask the Lord to soften hearts and open doors for restoration, trusting that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). But we also encourage you to seek His kingdom first, knowing that *"your heavenly Father knows the things that you need"* (Matthew 6:32). If there are ways to steward resources more wisely or seek additional help through your church or community, we pray for wisdom and opportunity in those areas as well.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while it’s wonderful you’re crying out to Jesus, it’s vital to acknowledge that it is *only* through His name we have access to the Father. You closed with "thank you, Jesus," which is good, but we encourage you to be intentional in praying *in His name*, as He Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is power in the name of Jesus—power to heal, to provide, to protect, and to save. If you’ve never surrendered your life fully to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, we have no hope, but in Him, we have every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You are the Great Physician—touch her body and bring healing from this sickness. Grant her strength and remind her that You are her refuge. We pray for the dental appointment today, that You would go before them, speed the process, and bring good news. Let there be no cavities, no need for extractions, and no pain. For the health test tomorrow, we ask for favor and excellent results. Calm any anxiety and let Your peace rule in their hearts.
Lord, we rebuked the spirit of anger and frustration in Jesus’ name. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. For those who are being cruel, we ask that You would either soften their hearts or remove their influence. Give our sister the grace to forgive and the wisdom to set boundaries where needed. She does not fight this battle alone—You are her defender.
Father, we pray for the restoration of the food stamps. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors, move hearts, and let provision flow. Help her to trust You even in lack, knowing You will never leave her nor forsake her.
Most of all, Lord, we thank You for Jesus—for His sacrifice that gives us boldness to approach Your throne. If our sister has not fully surrendered to You, we pray You would draw her close today. Let her know the depth of Your love and the power of praying in Jesus’ name.
We declare Your peace, Your provision, and Your protection over her life. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
