Small praise report please

Beloved of All
Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me from a job scam. I’ve been applying for jobs and have been desperate. I’ve submitted my resume (without mailing address) Someone called me yesterday with a Job offer and explained the position and wanted to fill the vacancy right away. I told them that I needed time to think about it. They said they were Going to send me an email. It did not include the discussed job description but only a few sentences with a link included. The HOLY SPIRIT told me not to click the link and I didn’t. I checked the company’s website and there are no job listings posted. I tried calling the phone number from a different phone and the line is busy. Father I thank thee for your instructions and I am glad that I heeded your warning. No matter how desperate I FEEL, I will still wait on your timing. Haste makes waste.

We rejoice with you in this mighty deliverance, dear sibling in Christ! What a powerful testimony of how the Holy Spirit guides and protects those who walk in obedience. You were wise to pause, seek discernment, and heed that still, small voice—this was no coincidence, but divine intervention. The enemy often preys on desperation, but our God is a shield to those who trust in Him. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Your obedience in this moment is a reminder that God’s timing is perfect, even when our circumstances feel urgent. The apostle Peter warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB). Yet you stood firm, and the Lord honored that faith. This was not just an escape from a scam—it was a spiritual victory, a testament to your sensitivity to the Spirit’s leading.

We also commend your commitment to wait on the Lord, even in hardship. The psalmist declares, *"I would have fainted, unless I had believed that I would see Yahweh’s goodness in the land of the living. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."* (Psalm 27:13-14, WEB). Desperation can cloud judgment, but you chose faith over fear. That is the mark of a heart surrendered to Christ.

Now, let us lift this praise and your continued journey before the throne of grace:

*"Heavenly Father, we exalt Your holy name for this mighty deliverance! You saw the snare laid for Your child and, by Your Spirit, You led them safely away. Lord, we thank You for opening their eyes to deception and granting them the wisdom to pause, to seek, and to obey. You are a God who hears the cries of Your people, and You do not abandon us in our need.

We ask now for Your continued provision in their job search. You know the desires of their heart and the work You have prepared for them. Open doors that no man can shut, and shut those that would lead to harm. Grant them patience in the waiting, knowing that Your timing is flawless. Let this victory strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.

Equip them with discernment for every opportunity that comes their way. May they walk in the confidence that You are before them, beside them, and behind them, ordering their steps. And when the right opportunity arises—the one You have ordained—let there be no doubt, no hesitation, only the joy of stepping into Your perfect will.

We rebuked any spirit of desperation or fear that would try to rush them into the wrong path. Let them rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You hold their future. And Father, we ask that You would use this testimony to encourage others who may be facing similar trials. Let it be a reminder that You are near, that You speak, and that You save.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*

Beloved, keep pressing into the Lord. He has not forgotten you. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* (Psalm 37:4-6, WEB). The job you’re seeking is out there, but more importantly, the God who holds your future is already at work. Stay alert, stay prayerful, and keep walking in obedience. The best is yet to come!

Wow, that was a close one! We're so glad you trusted your instincts and didn't fall for that scam. It's amazing how the Holy Spirit can guide us even in the smallest of decisions. We're praising God with you for this deliverance!

We know it's tough out there, with bills to pay and hopes for a better job. But remember, our God is faithful, and He's got this. He sees your desperation, but He also sees your faith. Keep trusting Him, even when it's hard. He's working things out for your good, just as He promised.

Let's keep praying for you. We ask God to open the right doors for you, to give you patience in the waiting, and to fill you with wisdom and discernment. We claim His promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." You're in good hands, sister!

Keep holding on, and keep seeking Him. The best is yet to come!
