Small praise report and prayer request please

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Today I received a follow up Text message regarding connecting with wifh an agency about food, housing and etc because I already receive govt assistance. I was advised to reach out asap which I did and left a message. Father in Jesus name please go before me in this process. I don't want to be like the person in a popular story where you sent all kinds of aid and they refused To take it and then complained about their circumstances not changing. . They didn’t recognize your “hand” in the situation. I thank thee Father for the opportunity and pray that only food will come out of it. I’ve been nervous for a while.

We rejoice with you in this small but mighty praise report, for our God is indeed a God who provides, and He is moving on your behalf! Your heart of gratitude and willingness to act in faith is a beautiful testimony of trusting in His sovereignty. You have rightly acknowledged that the Lord often sends help in ways we may not immediately recognize, and we praise Him for opening your eyes to see His hand at work. The story you referenced reminds us of the Israelites in the wilderness, who grumbled despite God’s daily provision of manna (Exodus 16:1-36). How gracious is our Father that He does not treat us as our complaints deserve, but instead continues to lead us beside still waters and restore our souls (Psalm 23:2-3).

Your request for food assistance is a humble and practical need, and we are confident that the Lord, who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field, will not overlook you (Matthew 6:26-33). Yet we also sense a hesitation in your heart—perhaps a fear of receiving more than you’ve asked for or a worry about the unknown. Let us remind you that our God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). If He chooses to provide housing assistance or other forms of aid, it is not to burden you but to bless you abundantly, that you may in turn be a blessing to others. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure, it will be measured back to you"* (Luke 6:38). Do not let fear limit how the Lord wants to provide for you. His ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts are beyond our understanding (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We also notice the nervousness you’ve carried, and we gently encourage you to cast this anxiety upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Nervousness often stems from a lack of trust, but our Heavenly Father is faithful. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When worries arise, meditate on His promises, such as Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision and guidance in our sister’s life. Lord, You are the God who sees her needs before she even asks, and we thank You for opening this door of opportunity for her. We pray that You would go before her in this process, smoothing out every detail and granting her favor with this agency. Remove any obstacles, whether spiritual or practical, that might hinder the help she needs. Father, we ask that You not only provide the food she has requested but also open her heart to receive any additional blessings You have prepared for her. Help her to trust You fully, knowing that Your plans for her are good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and nervousness that has gripped her heart. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that she is not alone in this—You are her Provider, her Shield, and her Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). Give her wisdom as she navigates this process, and let her words and actions be pleasing in Your sight.

We also pray for her faith to grow stronger through this experience. Help her to recognize Your hand in every detail, that she may testify of Your goodness to others. May she walk in the confidence that You are her Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. And Father, if there are areas in her life where she has struggled to trust You fully, we ask that You would gently convict and comfort her, drawing her closer to You.

We declare all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who taught us to pray with boldness and expectation. May Your will be done in her life, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word as you wait for this process to unfold. Keep a journal of how He is working, so that when this season is over, you can look back and see His faithfulness. And remember, even if the provision comes differently than you expect, trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay steadfast, dear sister, and let your heart be filled with praise as you wait on the Lord.

We're right there with you, sister, rejoicing in this small but significant praise report. It's amazing how God works, isn't it? He's like a gentle whisper in the night, guiding us to places we never thought we'd be. We're standing in awe with you, seeing His hand in this situation, just like you have.

We want to encourage you to keep that heart of gratitude going. It's a beautiful thing to see faith in action. Remember, God often uses the most ordinary things to show us His extraordinary love. Like the mustard seed, your faith is growing, and we're cheering you on!

Now, about that nervousness you've been feeling. We get it, change can be scary, even when it's for the better. But remember, God is with you in this. He's not going to leave you hanging. He's the God who sees you, who knows your needs even before you ask. So, let's trust Him, shall we? Let's trust that He knows what He's doing, even when we can't see the whole picture.

We're praying for you, dear sister. We're asking God to give you peace, to calm those nerves, and to fill you with His perfect love that casts out all fear. We're asking Him to guide you every step of the way, to open the right doors, and to close the ones that aren't meant for you. And we're trusting that He will provide for you, not just food, but everything you need to live a life that honors Him.

Keep looking up, sister. Keep trusting. Keep praying. And remember, no matter what happens, God is good. Always.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

We want to lift our voices together in thanksgiving for the way the Lord has already begun to move in your situation—what a blessing to see that first step of connection open up so clearly! Your heart of humility and willingness to act in faith is such an encouragement to us all. We’ve continued to bring your request before the Father, asking Him to go before you in every phone call, every form, and every conversation with this agency. How beautiful it is to see you recognizing His hand at work, even in the small things, and trusting Him to provide what is truly needed.

We’re standing with you in prayer that this process would unfold smoothly, that doors would open swiftly for the right kind of support, and that you’d feel His peace guarding your heart against nervousness. It’s clear you’re seeking not just provision, but His will—and we’re asking the Lord to make His path undeniable. If He’s led you to take this step, we believe He’ll carry it to completion in His perfect timing.

Would you share an update when you’re able? Whether it’s another praise for how He’s provided or a new layer of the journey where we can continue lifting you up, we’re here to walk with you in faith. You’re not alone in this—we’re all cheering you on, trusting that the God who sees your needs will meet them in ways only He can.

May you feel His presence so tangibly in these days, reminding you that He is your Provider, your Peace, and your Guide. We’re praying for you, our friend. In Jesus’ name.
