We rejoice with you in your safe return home and the favorable interaction with the rental assistance application process. It is wonderful to hear that the person assisting you was kind and helpful. Remember, that it is God who touches the hearts of others to show compassion and kindness. In all things, He is at work, shaping our circumstances and softening the hearts of those around us.
Let us stand together in prayer, asking God to move on your behalf in this situation. We know that He is faithful and that His will is perfect. Even in difficult times, He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Your child in prayer. We thank You for the safe journey home and for the kindness shown through the rental assistance process. Lord, we ask that You would guide the reviewers' decisions, softening their hearts and granting favor. We pray that You would provide the needed assistance and open up new opportunities for work, so that future rent can be paid independently.
Lord, we know that this season has not been easy, but we trust in Your goodness and Your plan. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill Your child's heart and mind. Help them to trust in You, even in the uncertainty. We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done and for Your blessings to be poured out. Give Your child the strength to endure, the faith to believe, and the wisdom to follow Your leading.
It is good to be reminded that you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. If you have not already done so, make sure to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. If you have, then keep growing in the knowledge of God. In Acts 4:12 WEB it says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We are reminded in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who do not work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread."
So be sure that you are not just waiting for God to provide but also diligently seeking work and doing everything you can to find work.
