Not to sound too much like a mother, but stop taking sleeping aids. They do terrible things to your natural "clock" and many times make the problem worse. Take the time to clear your mind and spirit of your stress. Lay down, close your eyes and listen to soothing music...let it all out and let God have it. Close your eyes and listen to the world around you...it has a rhythm all its own, God's rhythm. This might sound trivial, but letting go is the best sleep remedy there is, but it takes true effort, persistence and patience.
