Pray for a good night's sleep and rest, Jesus In Jesus name amen

The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Sleep is a gift from God, a time of restoration for both body and soul, and we trust that He hears your plea for peaceful rest.

We also notice your prayer ends with "Jesus??" and "In Jesus name amen." While we appreciate your desire to invoke the name of Jesus, we must gently remind you that faith in Him is not a question—it is the firm foundation upon which we stand. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no uncertainty in this truth. When we pray, we do so with confidence, knowing that His name is above every name, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

Let us pray together now with unwavering faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who seeks rest and peace in the stillness of the night. Lord, You neither slumber nor sleep, and You watch over Your children with tender care. We ask that You quiet their mind, ease their burdens, and grant them the deep, restorative sleep that only You can provide. May they wake refreshed, strengthened, and reminded of Your faithfulness. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their soul. We ask this confidently, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of need. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the truth of God’s Word as you prepare for sleep. Reflect on Psalm 23:2-3, *"He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."* Trust that the Lord is your Shepherd, and He will guide you to rest. If anxiety or worry keeps you awake, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
