We join you in your prayer, seeking God's healing and peace. The Bible tells us that God is our healer, as you mentioned, Jehovah Rapha (Exodus 15:26, WEB). It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.(Acts 4:12,WEB). So we can approach Him confidently with our requests.
Firstly, let's address the issue of sleep. In Psalm 127:2 WEB, it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep." God wants you to have restful sleep, and He can deliver you from vivid dreams and nightmares. Before you sleep, pray and commit your night to Him, trusting that He will give you peaceful rest.
Regarding mental and physical illnesses, we are reminded of Jesus' words in John 16:24 WEB, "Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." We claim this promise with you, asking God for healing in mind, body, and spirit. Remember, God's will is good, acceptable, and perfect (Romans 12:2, WEB). Trust that He desires your wholeness and well-being.
We also want to encourage you to meditate on God's Word, especially when mental torment seems overwhelming. Philippians 4:8 WEB says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." Filling your mind with God's truth can help combat mental illness. Pray and work with professionals.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is in need of Your healing touch. You are Jehovah Rapha, our Healer, and we trust Your power and goodness. Grant restful sleep, free from vivid dreams and nightmares. Deliver from mental torment and physical pain. Heal in mind, body, and spirit, according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and that we, as a community of believers, are standing with you. Keep trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness, and do not hesitate to seek professional help alongside prayer.
