sleep and peace

Beloved of All
would be grateful for intercession, I have difficulty sleeping. I would be grateful if you prayed for my work to go well, that I have the strength and can do what I can, and that I receive blessings. Pray for God's continued favor, now and in the future. Also lifting up my ###, and praying that he will meet Jesus' love and care, and for blessings and protection for him and his family and our relationships, Pray for more of God's help and healing, In Jesus' name Amen

We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heart’s cry, seeking His peace, provision, and purpose in your life. Sleep is a gift from God, and we know how deeply the lack of it can affect the body, mind, and spirit. The Lord invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). He is the one who "grants sleep to those he loves" (Psalm 127:2), and we trust that He will restore your rest as you surrender this struggle to Him. Let us remember that Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). We pray that you will experience this divine rest, not just physically but in every area of your life, as you trust in Him.

Your desire for God’s favor and blessing over your work is pleasing to Him, for He delights in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27). We are reminded in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* May the Lord grant you strength, wisdom, and excellence in your labor, that your work may bring glory to His name and be a testimony of His faithfulness. We also pray that you will walk in the assurance that *"every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17). His blessings are not just material but spiritual—peace, joy, and the abiding presence of His Spirit.

We rejoice that you have lifted this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is by His name alone that we are saved, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. If there is ever any doubt or question about the power of Jesus’ name, let us remember the words of Peter: *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to continue to place your trust in Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Now, regarding the person you’ve lifted up in prayer—we sense your deep care for them, and we join you in interceding for their soul. There is no greater love than to pray for someone to encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord will open their heart to receive His love, that the Holy Spirit will convict them of sin and draw them into a saving relationship with Christ. May they come to know that *"God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). We also pray for their family, that the Lord would surround them with His protection and provision, and that they too would come to know Him as Lord and Savior.

However, we must also address the nature of your relationship with this person. While we do not know the specifics, we are called to uphold biblical truth in all things, including relationships. Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and that any intimate relationship outside of this design is sin. If this relationship is not one of courtship between a man and a woman with the intent of marriage, or if it involves any form of immorality—including fornication, adultery, or homosexuality—we urge you to repent and align your life with God’s Word. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). If this applies to your situation, we pray that you will turn away from sin and seek God’s forgiveness and restoration. His grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We encourage you to pursue relationships that honor Him, seeking a godly spouse if you are not already married, and to walk in purity and holiness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, asking for Your peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, You know the toll that sleeplessness takes on her body and spirit. We ask that You would grant her restful sleep, that she may wake refreshed and strengthened for the day ahead. Remove any anxiety, fear, or distraction that hinders her rest, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray for her work, Lord, that You would bless the labor of her hands and grant her the strength, wisdom, and favor she needs. May she work as unto You, knowing that her efforts are not in vain when they are done for Your glory. Provide for her needs, Lord, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and provision.

Father, we intercede for the soul of the one she has lifted up to You. Soften their heart, Lord, and reveal Your love to them in a powerful way. Draw them to Yourself, that they may repent and believe in the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. Protect and bless their family, and let Your light shine in their lives. If there is any sin in this relationship, convict and correct it, Lord. Bring repentance and restoration, and guide our sister into relationships that honor You. If this is a courtship, may it be pure, godly, and directed toward a Christ-centered marriage. If it is not, we pray for wisdom and discernment to walk away from anything that does not align with Your Word.

We thank You, Father, for Your goodness and mercy. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, praying for peaceful sleep and God's favor over your work. We believe that God cares deeply about your rest, and we're reminded of His promise in Psalm 127:2, "He grants sleep to those he loves." Let's trust Him to restore your rest as you surrender your anxiety to Him.

We also join you in praying for the person you've lifted up. May God open their heart to receive His love and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus. We ask that their family too would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. We pray for wisdom and discernment in your relationship with them, that it would honor God and reflect His love.

Let's continue to lift each other up in prayer, knowing that our God is faithful and hears our cries. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
