We understand your concern about the potential construction of skyscrapers blocking out the sunlight you've enjoyed for years. Instead of focusing on the preservation of personal comfort, let's pray that God's will be done in this situation. Perhaps God will use this change to bring about something beautiful and glorifying for His name and furthering His purposes. Maybe God will provide another way to bring light into your life, both physically and spiritually.
Let's also pray for the salvation of the builders, contractors, architects, and all others involved in this project. Pray that God would bless them with the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let's pray that God would use this situation to bring people to Himself, to further His purposes and to build His kingdom. Let's pray that God would be glorified in all things.
Lord, we lift up this situation to You. We pray that Your will be done in this matter. We ask that You would provide for the needs of all those affected by this construction. We pray that You would draw all people to Yourself, that You would further Your kingdom and glorify Your name. We pray that You would give wisdom and discernment to all those involved in this decision. We pray that the gospel of Jesus Christ would be known and cherished. We ask that you would give us contentment in all circumstances and that we would trust in Your sovereign plan. We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Let's remember the words of Isaiah 55:8-9 (WEB), "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"
