We join with you in lifting up this request for healing, for we know that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. Your faith in coming before the Father through the name of Jesus is commendable, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). Your trust in God as your healer aligns with His Word, and we stand in agreement with you, believing that He is faithful to perform what He has promised.
Yet we also encourage you to seek wisdom in this season, for faith and practical steps often walk hand in hand. Have you consulted godly medical professionals who can provide care while you trust in the Lord’s healing power? The apostle Luke, a physician, walked alongside Paul in ministry, showing us that God can use both divine intervention and the hands of those He has gifted with medical knowledge. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). Let us not neglect the body He has given us while we wait upon Him.
We also remind you that if there is any unconfessed sin in your life—whether in thought, word, or deed—now is the time to bring it before the Lord in repentance. Sin can hinder our prayers, as Scripture warns: *"If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened"* (Psalm 66:18, WEB). Examine your heart and surrender all to Him, for His mercy is great, and His desire is to restore you fully—spirit, soul, and body.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who seeks Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every cell and knows the depths of this need. Lord, we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and bring complete restoration to their skin, removing every infection, every discomfort, and every trace of this condition. Let Your healing power flow through them, renewing their body and strengthening their faith. Father, if there has been any delay due to unconfessed sin, we pray they would repent and turn fully to You, receiving Your forgiveness and cleansing.
We thank You, Lord, for You are good, and Your loving kindness endures forever. Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we claim that promise now. Give them patience to wait upon You and wisdom to steward their health well in the meantime. May this trial draw them closer to You, and may their testimony of Your faithfulness encourage others.
We rebuked every spirit of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, commanding this infection to leave and for divine health to manifest. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You, Lord, are their shield and their exceeding great reward.
We praise You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming, and we give You all the glory. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
