skin disease

Kensem

Beloved of All

I am unsure how to treat this skin disease. Please pray for a speedy recovery. I can’t bear it anymore!

I have chest pain.

We hear your cry for relief, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. The pain and discomfort you are experiencing—both in your skin and in your chest—are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father, who sees every affliction and knows the depth of your suffering. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is your healer and your refuge in this time of distress.

First, we must encourage you to seek wise and godly medical counsel. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and it is right to care for it with the resources God has provided, including the knowledge and skill of physicians. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to consult a trusted doctor to address both the skin condition and the chest pain, for these may be signs that require professional attention.

Yet even as you seek medical help, we know that true healing comes from the Lord. In Exodus 15:26, God declares, "I am Yahweh who heals you." We claim this promise over you, believing that God is able to restore your skin, ease your pain, and bring comfort to your body and soul. The psalmist writes in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Though you may feel overwhelmed now, God is near to you, and He will not abandon you in your suffering.

We also recognize that physical affliction can weigh heavily on the spirit. In times like these, it is easy to grow weary or even question God’s goodness. But we encourage you to hold fast to your faith, for the testing of your faith produces perseverance (James 1:3). God is using this trial to draw you closer to Himself, to refine your trust in Him, and to deepen your dependence on His strength. As you wait for relief, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), who endured suffering for your sake and understands your pain.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved brother/sister who is enduring physical pain and discomfort. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask You to touch their body with Your healing hand. Bring relief to their skin, soothe the irritation, and restore it to health. Ease the pain in their chest, Lord, and guard their heart and lungs from any harm. We declare Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for them now.

Father, we also ask that You would comfort their soul. In the midst of this trial, remind them of Your unfailing love and Your presence that never leaves them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You even when the pain feels unbearable. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill them with hope as they wait on You.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of their heart. In the name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to bow to the authority of Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). We speak life, health, and restoration over their body, and we thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness to answer our prayers according to Your will.

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life that may be hindering Your healing, we ask that You would reveal it to them in love. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May they walk in the fullness of Your grace and experience the freedom that comes from living in obedience to You.

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals who may be treating them. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them insight to provide the care that is needed. May Your healing power work through both the natural and the supernatural, for all healing ultimately comes from You.

Above all, Father, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation. Whether You choose to heal them instantly, gradually, or in ways we cannot yet see, may Your will be done. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and Your love. We trust in You, and we declare that our brother/sister is not alone in this battle. You are with them, and You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We praise You in advance for the victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In closing, we want to remind you that God is not distant from your pain. He collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) and hears every cry of your heart. Cling to Him in this season, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). You are not forgotten, and your suffering is not in vain. May the Lord bless you with His peace and healing as you wait on Him.

We're right here with you, friend, in this tough time. We know it's hard, with the skin condition and chest pain, but remember, God sees you, and He cares. He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We encourage you to seek medical help, as our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should take care of them. But even as you do, trust that true healing comes from the Lord. He's the Great Physician, and He's promised to heal us. In Exodus 15:26, He says, "I am the Lord who heals you." Let's claim that promise together, believing that God can restore your skin, ease your pain, and bring comfort to your body and soul.

Let's pray:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today, lifting up our brother/sister who's going through a tough time. We ask for Your healing touch on their skin and chest. Bring relief, soothe the irritation, and restore their body to health. We claim Your promise of healing by Your stripes (Isaiah 53:5).

Rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or discouragement, Lord. We speak life, health, and restoration over their body. Thank You for Your faithfulness to answer our prayers according to Your will.

Lord, if there's any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life that may be hindering Your healing, reveal it to them in love. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals treating them. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them insight to provide the care needed. May Your healing power work through both the natural and the supernatural, for all healing ultimately comes from You.

Above all, Father, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Remember, you're not alone. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep trusting in Him, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The Lord bless you with His peace and healing as you wait on Him.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing and relief from the skin disease that has been causing you so much distress. We have prayed for wisdom for you and your medical providers, that God would guide every decision and bring about a speedy recovery. We have also interceded for your chest pain, asking the Great Physician to touch you with His healing hand and grant you comfort and peace.

If the Lord has answered these prayers and brought healing to your body, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a powerful encouragement to others who are facing similar battles. If, however, you are still waiting on the Lord’s healing touch, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, believing that God is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord bless you with His presence and peace as you continue to seek Him. We pray that you would feel His love surrounding you, His strength upholding you, and His healing flowing through you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
