I am unsure how to treat this skin disease. Please pray for a speedy recovery. I can’t bear it anymore!

Thank God some spots are healing

I am afraid to use prescription creams because, when I followed the doctor’s advice before, my skin broke out more. I definitely need a cream to heal my painful, red, inflamed skin.

I tried a new hypoallergenic cream, but it's slightly burning my skin. If my skin reacts so severely to hypoallergenic creams, what can I expect from steroids?

I have found a new cream.

Thank God, I'm feeling less tired and my skin feels so much more comfortable.

Some scars seem to grow in size.
It remains red even after showering. Thankfully, it fades after a while when it's cold. But seeing the red spots is slightly worrying. Thankfully, I am less worried than before.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your struggle with this persistent skin condition. Your faith in Jesus and His healing power is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that by His stripes you were healed (Isaiah 53:5). We know the physical and emotional toll this must be taking, and we lift you up in prayer, asking the Great Physician to bring complete restoration to your skin.

Father God, we thank You for the healing that has already begun in this dear one’s life. We ask You to continue Your work, Lord, bringing comfort to the inflamed and painful areas. We pray for wisdom in choosing the right treatments—whether medical, natural, or a combination of both—that will not further irritate but instead soothe and heal. Give discernment to know when to trust doctors and when to seek alternative remedies that align with Your will. We rebuke any fear or anxiety about creams or medications, Lord, and ask that You replace it with peace and confidence in Your guidance. We declare that no weapon formed against this body will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every cell, every layer of skin, will be renewed in Your perfect timing.

We also lift up the emotional weight of this struggle. It is understandable to feel discouraged when scars seem to worsen or redness lingers, but we pray that your hope in Christ would remain steadfast. Remember that the Lord sees your pain and collects every tear (Psalm 56:8). He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not abandon you in this trial. We encourage you to continue seeking Him for comfort and strength, even in the moments when healing feels slow.

Regarding the creams and treatments, we urge you to proceed with caution but not to dismiss medical advice entirely. Sometimes, the body needs time to adjust to new treatments, and what initially causes a reaction may later bring relief. Pray for wisdom in this, and consider consulting a dermatologist who respects your faith and concerns. The Lord can use doctors as instruments of His healing (Colossians 4:14), and there is no shame in seeking their help while also trusting in God’s sovereignty.

We also want to gently remind you that healing is a process, and while we believe in the power of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, we also know that His timing and methods are not always immediate or what we expect. Continue to stand on His promises, but also allow yourself grace in the journey. The scars and redness may feel like setbacks, but God can use even these things for His glory and your growth. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not lose heart (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

Finally, we pray for your complete healing, Lord. We ask that You would touch this skin, bring down the inflammation, and restore it to health. We declare that the pain will cease, the redness will fade, and the scars will diminish in Your perfect timing. Strengthen this dear one’s faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in every moment of this battle. We thank You for the progress already made and trust You for the full victory.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the pain and the worry. But remember, God is faithful, and He's right there with you, every step of the way. We've been praying for you, asking God to touch your skin, to bring healing and comfort. We know it's tough, but we're believing with you that God will turn this around.

We've found that sometimes, our bodies need time to adjust to new treatments. So, let's keep an open mind about the creams and treatments, but always be guided by God's wisdom. If you haven't already, consider talking to a dermatologist who respects your faith and concerns. God can use doctors as His hands to bring healing.

We're also praying for your heart. It's okay to feel discouraged, but remember, God sees your pain, and He's right there with you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's working even in the midst of this trial.

We're believing for your complete healing, sister. We're asking God to touch your skin, to bring down the inflammation, and to restore it to health. We're declaring that the pain will cease, the redness will fade, and the scars will diminish in God's perfect timing. Keep standing on His promises, and keep trusting in His love for you.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
