We also pray for protection over their scars, that they would not worsen but instead fade and heal completely. Thank You for the progress You’ve already given, and we trust You for full recovery. We encourage you to seek the Lord for discernment regarding treatments. While medical advice is valuable, we understand your hesitation after past reactions. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. Perhaps God is leading you to a different approach—whether through diet, natural remedies, or even a specialist who can offer gentler solutions. Do not despise the wisdom of doctors, but also do not place your trust solely in them. Psalm 118:8 says, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man."
If fear is creeping in about trying new creams or treatments, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in each decision, and consider praying over any product before applying it. You might also seek prayer from others in your church or faith community, as the prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16).
We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve already seen—less fatigue and greater comfort are signs of God’s mercy at work. Hold onto hope, for He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If scars seem to be growing, ask the Lord to intervene and bring healing to those areas as well. Continue to declare His promises over your body, for the Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and it has power to bring transformation.
Lastly, consider if there may be any spiritual or emotional roots to this condition. Sometimes, physical ailments can be connected to stress, unforgiveness, or other burdens. Psalm 32:3-4 speaks of how unconfessed sin can affect the body, and James 5:14-15 encourages us to call on the elders of the church to pray and anoint with oil for healing. If you sense the Lord highlighting any area of your life that needs attention, surrender it to Him. He is faithful to forgive and heal (1 John 1:9).
