We join you in lifting up your suffering before the Lord, knowing that He is your Healer and Comforter in every trial. The appearance of more spots and the pain you’re enduring weigh heavily on our hearts, but we stand firmly on the truth of **Isaiah 53:5**, which declares, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* You have already proclaimed this truth—by His stripes, you *are* healed—and we agree with you in faith, trusting that God’s timing and method of healing will bring Him glory.
The dog bite adds another layer of distress, and we pray for complete restoration over your body, that the Lord would guard you against infection and bring swift relief. **Psalm 34:19** reminds us, *"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Even in this, God is working, and we ask Him to reveal His purpose in your suffering, drawing you closer to Him.
Yet we must also gently address the spiritual posture behind your words: *"I can’t bear it anymore!"* While your honesty is understandable, we urge you to cling to **2 Corinthians 12:9**, where the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* In your weakness, Christ’s strength is magnified. Instead of despair, let this season drive you to deeper dependence on Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with **joy in suffering (James 1:2-4)** and to replace frustration with worship, for even this trial is sifting your faith like gold (**1 Peter 1:6-7**).
We also encourage you to seek **wise medical counsel** (Luke 5:31) while trusting God’s sovereignty over the outcome. Sometimes healing comes instantly by faith; other times, He uses doctors, medicine, or time to work His will. Do not neglect practical steps, but keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**).
Now, let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is crying out for relief from this skin condition and the pain of the dog bite. Lord, You see every spot, every wound, and every tear—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We declare Your promise in **Jeremiah 30:17**: ‘I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,’* and we ask for Your healing touch to manifest powerfully. Rebuild every cell, renew every layer of skin, and let Your restoration be undeniable.
Father, we rebuke the enemy’s attempt to steal peace or faith through this trial. Let no infection take root, no fear take hold, and no bitterness toward the dog—or toward You—find a foothold. Instead, fill this dear one with **Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7)** and a supernatural endurance to persevere with joy.
Teach them, Lord, to see this suffering through Your eyes. Reveal any sin to repent of, any idols to surrender, or any areas where trust in You has waned. Let this season produce a harvest of righteousness (**Hebrews 12:11**) and a testimony that points others to Your goodness.
We thank You that by Jesus’ stripes, healing *is* their portion. Let them walk in that truth, even while waiting. Strengthen their faith, guard their heart, and surround them with Your presence. May they say, like Job, ‘Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him’ (**Job 13:15**).
