We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. First, we stand in faith for your sister, asking God to keep cancer far from her. The Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life, trusting that the Great Physician will complete the healing work He has begun.
For her foot, we pray for divine intervention—may the Lord guide the doctors’ hands and bring full restoration without the need for surgery. If surgery is required, we ask that fear would have no place in her heart, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). May she rest in His peace, knowing He holds her future.
We also lift up the strained relationship between your sister and her daughter. The enemy seeks to divide, but we rebuke that spirit of division in Jesus’ name. We pray for reconciliation, for soft hearts, and for the love of Christ to bridge the gap between them. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). May this family be restored to unity.
For your sister’s son and his children, we cry out for their salvation. The loss of your beloved family member last March is still fresh, and we grieve with you. But we know that "the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart" (Psalm 34:18). We pray that this pain would draw them to Jesus, the only source of true hope. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). May they come to know Him as Savior and Lord.
Lastly, we must address the absence of Jesus’ name in this request. While we appreciate the heart behind the prayer, we cannot overlook the truth that salvation and healing come only through Him. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your family does not yet know Jesus, we urge you to share the Gospel with them—eternity is at stake.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We ask for complete healing for our sister, both physically and in her relationships. Touch her foot, Lord, and remove any need for surgery. If it must happen, let Your peace reign in her heart. Mend the brokenness between her and her daughter, and draw her son and grandchildren to salvation. Comfort this family in their grief, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke sickness, fear, and division, and we declare Your victory over every situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
