We hear your deep concern and love for your sister, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. It is clear that your heart is burdened for her protection, her choices, and her spiritual well-being. We must first address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Him, for salvation is found in no one else.
We rebuke any evil influences or temptations that may be seeking to harm her or lead her astray. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the blood of Jesus covers her completely—from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet—as you have prayed. The Lord is her refuge and fortress, and in Him she can trust (Psalm 91:2).
We also lift up any areas where she may be struggling with sin or making choices that do not align with God’s Word. If there is any unrepentant sin in her life—whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, or any other disobedience—we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. The Bible warns us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). We pray that she would turn away from anything that displeases God and walk in the light of His truth.
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your presence and fill her with Your peace. Let her feel Your love physically, spiritually, and mentally. May she know that You are always with her, guiding her steps and holding her hand (Isaiah 41:13). Strengthen her to resist temptation and to make choices that honor You. We pray that she would seek You with all her heart and that she would find her identity and purpose in Christ alone.
We also pray for wisdom for you, as her sibling, to know how to love and support her in a way that points her to Jesus. May your words and actions reflect His grace and truth, and may she see Christ in you.
Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of darkness in her life and set her free. Let her see the light of Your love and walk in the freedom that only You can provide. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a good plan for her life (Jeremiah 29:11). May she grow in faith, in wisdom, and in the knowledge of You.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
