We lift up your sister before the throne of grace with hearts full of love and concern. It is clear you care deeply for her well-being, and we join you in praying for her protection, guidance, and transformation in Christ. First, let us address the foundation of our prayers—we must always come before God in the name of Jesus, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Him, that she may confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we ask that You would indeed guide your daughter in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Surround her with Your hedge of protection, Lord, so that no evil may come near her (Psalm 91:10-11). Guard her heart and mind from temptation, for You have promised that no temptation will overtake her except what is common to man, and You will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep her far from bad influences, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). May she walk in the light as You are in the light, and may the blood of Jesus, Your Son, cleanse her from all sin (1 John 1:7).
We pray that You would cover her from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Open her eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the beauty of a life lived for You. Transform her mind, Lord, so that she may discern what is Your good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). Give her the strength to make choices that honor You, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Heal her physically, spiritually, and mentally, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon her, that she may be filled with Your presence and power. Let her know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is deeply loved by You, that she is Your child (1 John 3:1), and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). May she find her identity, worth, and purpose in You alone.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, as her sibling, to know how to love and support her in a way that points her to Christ. May your words and actions be seasoned with grace and truth, reflecting the love of Jesus (Colossians 4:6).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or bondage that may be trying to take hold of her life. We declare that she is set free in the name of Jesus, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Break every chain, Lord, and let her walk in the liberty that Christ has purchased for her (Galatians 5:1).
We trust in Your faithfulness, God, and we believe that You are working all things together for her good, because she is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May she grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be glory both now and forever. Amen.
