We lift up your sister before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to You. We ask that You indeed watch over her, guide her steps, and protect her from all harm and evil. Lead her not into temptation, but deliver her from the snares of the enemy, for Your Word declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Lord, we pray that You would hold her hand every step of the way, illuminating her path with the light of Your truth. May she see clearly the way You have set before her and walk in it with confidence, knowing that "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Cover her with the precious blood of Jesus, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, shielding her from all spiritual attacks and filling her with Your peace and protection.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You touch her heart and soul, drawing her closer to You each day. Heal her spiritually, emotionally, and physically, restoring her to wholeness in every area of her life. Your Word promises, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB), and we claim that promise over her life today. Open her eyes to the changes You desire to make in her, that she may live a life that is pleasing to You, full of joy, health, and purpose.
Lord, may she come to know You more intimately, understanding that You are always with her and that You desire what is best for her. Help her to trust in Your plans, for "I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Strengthen her faith, deepen her relationship with You, and let her experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in Your ways.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for her, that she may make choices that align with Your will. Surround her with godly influences and friendships that will encourage her in her walk with You. May she be a light to others, reflecting Your love and grace in all she does.
Father, if there are areas in her life that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You convict her heart gently but firmly, leading her to repentance and restoration. If she is involved in any relationships or behaviors that are not honoring to You, reveal the truth to her and give her the strength to turn away from them. Your Word is clear: "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB). We pray that she would live a life that is holy and pleasing to You, set apart for Your purposes.
In all these things, we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the work You are doing in her life. May she grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
